The most prevalent unmet supportive care need in cancer survivors is help with fear of cancer recurrence (FCR). FCR, broadly defined, is the fear or worry that cancer could return or progress in the same place or another part of the body. However, most commonly, FCR is used to describe the fear that cancer could return in survivors who have had treatment with the goal of cure.
