Head and Neck Cancer

Head and neck cancer (HNC) includes malignancies that arise on the lips and in the mouth, pharynx (including the nasopharynx, oropharynx, and hypopharynx), larynx, salivary glands, paranasal sinuses, and skin of the head and neck. It is the sixth most common cancer worldwide, accounting for approximately 5% of all new cancers. This chapter complements its predecessors, highlighting recent developments.
